A voice of his own.
Tamás Pregun is a Hungarian pianist and composer whose work brings together solo performance, chamber music and original composition.
Born in Budapest in 1987, he began playing the piano at eleven and entered the Liszt Academy’s preparatory programme two years later. His studies took him from Budapest to the Conservatoire in Paris, and his performances to concert halls and festivals across Europe and Japan.
A founding member of Musiciens Libres, he combines classical arrangements with contemporary Hungarian music. Rachmaninov is a particular focus of his performing and research work.
